Water & Wastewater Utilities
Water and wastewater work covers the plant that treats and moves the water, and the instrumentation that proves it was treated correctly. Flow Solution supplies and services the pumps, builds and maintains the chlorination and dosing plant around them, and integrates the control and telemetry that reports back from unmanned sites. Delivered work includes a secondary gas-chlorination dosing plant at a national beverage group water treatment plant, and cloud telemetry running live at three sites for a state government IT agency.
What this sector brings us
- Residual chlorine has to stay inside limits continuously, and a dosing fault has to be visible before it reaches the distribution network.
- Pump stations are spread across a district and mostly unmanned, so a fault is often discovered only when supply or level drops downstream.
- Readings that support compliance reporting are collected by hand from site logs, which is slow and hard to audit.
- Control panels installed years ago still run the plant, but the documentation and the original programming software are no longer on site.
- Servicing and spares for pump sets have to be arranged without taking a treatment stream out of service for longer than the schedule allows.
